SECOND UPDATE! : Magazine discovery...

Well, i was on the search for a magazine to suit young people (younger than me perhaps around the 14 years old mark) that are more mature and fashion forward and intelligent than what appears to be the target audience of typical teen mags. Believe me it wasn't easy. First stop:

Elle girl, aimed at appx 11-15 year olds? But it appears as though the fashion pages are not as developed as something like Another, i-d and Vogue. This is obviously because younger people who would typically read this mag would have a more young take on their personal fashion sense - but it wasn't enough. The articles consisted of firstly finals (meaning like gcse exams in england i guess) which you take when your between 16 and 18 years old - the mag isn't aimed at this age range so why have they written about it? I wasn't satisfied.

The more i thought about it, the more i thought - it is likely that there are more girls out there that enjoy elle girl than don't. This made me think - if a small group of more mature girls across the globe are too fashion forward for younger magazines then surely they are able to use the Internet properly? SO i have collected a group of links to fantastic fashion magazines (which are online) which are suitable for every age group because this way you can select what to look at and what not to look at!
So for all of those girls out there, these are for you! and there are plenty more, you just have to look in the right places!

Hey, thanks for your comment on my blog. I have just been reading yours and it's pretty good, i think i will be a regular reader of it. Oh and are you from England or USA? It seems like we have alot in common. I was looking at your magazine researching post and i suggest you check out Nylon magazine, i got it for the first time the other day and it's pretty great. Anyway i just wondered how you customize and create your own heading with images and stuff, because i have no idea.
Thanks so much

Maddison: I dont think you have abled your account for others to look at like straight from a comment because it wont let me click on your name sorry! My plan was to write back to you on your blog but unfortunately it wont let me! So i will reply here and hope you see it! Anyway - thanks for your comment! I am from England - oxford. What about you? And to nylon magazine - yes another commenter mentioned it earlier, i checked out their website it looks promising! Um to like customise banners and things you go tooo uhh... 'customise' at the top right hand side of the screen, then you should see a screen with like navbar and stuff on it - then click on the like long rectangular box at the top where your title name is - then in that box click edit then click (in the pop up box) umm add image or something similar? and basically head from there! goodluck with that and if you could send me the link to your page that would be great so i could see it! Hopefully you will see this! froomm definitionpoliticalspeakspace.blogspot.com x
